Overview Job title: Supervisor of Dining Operations - High Point Cafe & Retail Locations at Inside Higher Ed Location: Kennesaw, Georgia Job ID: 287284 | Regular | Full/Part Time: Full Time Job Summary Oversees assigned staff, student assistants and operations within the assigned retail and/or residential dining operations on a specific campus and/or location, which may include oversight of both front and back of the house operations. Assists managers with scheduling, team development, and meeting budgetary goals. Responsibilities Provides a dining experience that meets the lifestyle needs of students Ensures the program provides exceptional food variety, quality, cleanliness and freshness Assists and coordinates with maintenance and facilities to ensure the dining program has equipment that is well-maintained and functional at all times Responsible for leading, supervising, training and development of assigned staff and/or student assistants Assists leaders in managing expenses, generating revenue and the overall financial success of the assigned program and/or location Assists management in implementing new culinary programs and promotions in conjunction with the marketing and culinary team Qualifications Educational Requirements : High school diploma or equivalent Required Experience : One (1) year of supervisory experience in a food service establishment Preferred Qualifications : Knowledge of MS Office Suite Manager ServSafe Certified Undergraduate or advanced degree in a related field or culinary/hospitality program Experience in a Higher Education food service establishment Leadership and/or training experience in a food service establishment Salary and Benefits The salary range for this position is $17.50 to $19.50 based on relevant experience.
