Outpatient Nurse Supervisor

To provide quality nursing care through the application of the nursing process and established guidelines of nursing practice. Responsible for the supervision of the professional support staff at the health center.

Primary Position Responsibilities:

• Initial Intake
• Patient Room Preparation, Before and After Care
• Patient Order
• Point of Care
• Patient Safety
• Supervises clinical support staff
• Maintains and oversees clinical area

Qualifications:

Minimum Education: Required: Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing Preferred: Associates Degree in Nursing Bachelors Degree in Nursing

Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): Required: Must have two years of nursing experience, Managerial experience Preferred: None

License, Registry or Certification: Required: Current New Jersey RN or LPN license required. CPR certified, or obtain certification within 6 months of hire. Preferred: None

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Required: Good communication and interpersonal skills, decision making ability, telephone etiquette, detail and multitasking oriented, ability to handle a high volume of patients, problem solving skills, ability to use emergency equipment, ability to manage people. Preferred: None
