Contracting Specialists DC, LLC (CSI) is expanding its workforce and is seeking a reliable and experienced Foreman to oversee and coordinate daily field operations on restoration job sites. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of safety practices, be able to read construction plans, and effectively lead crews to ensure productivity and quality. Other duties may be assigned. Lead daily job site activities and ensure all tasks are performed safely and efficiently. Conduct and document daily safety meetings and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA’s). Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment for daily work tasks in the field. Maintain and ensure proper care of all tools and equipment used on site. Assist the Superintendent with job site material and equipment requests (MX). Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications to guide field operations. Communicate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines and standards. Enforce compliance with company safety policies and OSHA 30 requirements. Minimum Qualifications To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Strong understanding of construction safety practices and job site coordination. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications. OSHA 30 certification required. Strong organizational and communication skills. Must always maintain a constant state of mental alertness. Working Conditions Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and loud noise.
