Job Description & Requirements GTT Healthcare Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN in Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska. Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/29/2026 Duration: 12 weeks Hours per week: 36 hours Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Assignment Details Must have AK RN license in hand for Auto Offer. Assignment Length: 13 weeks (start ASAP). Shift: 3x12 nights per week. Years of Experience: 2. First-time applicants accepted. Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, NRP. Skills Required: Charge experience preferred or willing to train as charge. On-call: No. Weekend: Yes, every other. Clinician float within scope: May float to like units if needed. Block schedule: Not accommodated. Locals Accepted: No. Candidates must have permanent address at least 50 miles from facility. Pending license accepted: yes, but must have license in hand for Auto Offer. RTO Restrictions: Time off approved on an individual basis upon offer. All RTO must be included in submittal. Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks. Traveler can be called off for 1 shift per 2 weeks. Unit Overview OB Triage/Testing: 5-10 patients. LD/Antepartum: 7-14 patients. High Risk LD unit. 10 OB Triage Room, 10 LDR Room, 3 OR suites, 4 PACU room. Average daily deliveries around 7, up to 14 patients with inductions and high‑risk antepartum. OB Triage averages 4-5 third trimester testing patients and influx of triage patients each day.
