Sonographer - UltrasoundLocation: St. Louis, MO 63110Duration: 26 Weeks ContractShift: Mon - Friday 07:30am-04:00pm (No Call, No Weekends)Job Description:The Registered Diagnostic Sonographer performs ultrasound procedures, including but not limited to abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical, to adult and pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders, and assist with needle procedures (i.e., biopsies, drainages, needle placements, etc.).May also perform vascular procedures.Transplant and Doppler ultrasound experience is preferred. Vascular credentials helpful but not required. We are a general radiology dept, meaning we do general abdomen and small parts ultrasounds. All specialized ultrasounds typically go to that department - Vascular lab completes true vascular imaging (carotids, venous and arterial studies), Breast is its own department, as is OB, We do not do ANY OB scanning in our dept. We do a small amount of GYN.Education:High School Diploma or GED.ARDMS or equivalent Certified.BLS CertifiedAbdomen preferred1 year experience.
