Dispatch Coordinator East Peoria, IL, US $19.00 To $21.00 Hourly Job Summary: The Dispatcher will enter data and interact with customers and techs while performing other related duties. This role will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day of the department. Key Responsibilities Scheduling and dispatching drivers, work crews, and vehicles to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests, or immediate needs Relaying information such as workorders or other messages to and from work crews, field inspectors, supervisors, or customers Using telephones, chat, or text messages to contact employees or customers. Speaking with supervisors or customers to resolve problems, and requests for services or equipment. Preparing daily work such as schedules Overseeing communications within company‑assigned territories Keeping and organizing work requests, customer requests, completed work requests, charges for work performed, expenses for services performed, inventory records, and other information. Qualifications Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Skills and Competencies Basic understanding of usage and directions in maps. Great at searching for information and filling in the blanks. Problem resolution with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent and precise data entry and typing skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Excel, Word, Access, Teams, etc. Ability to work independently and as a team. Working Conditions Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
