About the Position

Job Title: RN - PACU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 09:00 - 21:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital PACU RN experience License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: The position is for a travel RN in the PACU. You will work in a recovery room with a total of 30 beds. The unit consists of 12 nurses and a charge nurse during the day shift. The patient-to-nurse ratios are 1 RN to 2 patients and 1 RN to 1 patient. Familiarity with electronic medical records and Meditech is required. Candidates should possess a great attitude and the ability to manage stress effectively. Patient experience is a priority for our team. On-call duties are required with a 30-minute response time when on-call. Flexible hours will be considered favorable. Prior experience with Meditech is a preferred qualification. The ideal candidate should be able to handle typical procedures such as craniotomies and orthopedic cases. This role emphasizes a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
