We are looking for a Body Shop Technician to join the team at the Hansel Collision Center in Santa Rosa, CA.Position Type: Full-TimeLocation: Fully Onsite (In-Person) at Hansel Collision Center in Santa Rosa, CAThe Body Shop Technician utilizes industry-leading equipment, tools, and repair procedures to efficiently and safely restore customer vehicles to manufacturer and company standards. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Body Shop Technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs and exceptional customer service.As part of a team of certified collision repair professionals, you'll help serve drivers throughout Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Rohnert Park, and the surrounding Sonoma County communities with industry-leading craftsmanship and customer care.Pay Range:$33.80-$45.00 hourly plus bonus pay plans are also available, depending on experience.Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to:Examines customer vehiclesIdentifies necessary vehicle repairs and maintenanceEstimates cost of repairsPerforms vehicle repairs and maintenanceDocuments services performedPerforms services efficiently and according to dealership guidelinesFollows dealership and manufacturer service guidelinesGreat working demeaner with co-workersMaintains CSI at or above Company standardsMaintains an organized, clean and safe work areaParticipates in required trainingRecords all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping systemFollows Safeguards rules and regulationsComplies with Company policies and proceduresObserves all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of dutiesQualifications and SkillsPrevious auto body repair or collision repair technician experience requiredStrong understanding of vehicle repair procedures and structural repair techniquesAbility to identify repair needs and execute repairs with a high level of workmanshipHave the highest level of workmanshipMust be reliable, punctual, and safety focusedPass a drug testPass a background checkClean and Valid California driver’s licensePhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, climb, and sit for extended periods.Frequent use of hands for handling tools, equipment, and controlsAbility to enter, exit, and demonstrate vehiclesAbility to work safety at heights and in varying weather and environmental conditionsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to perform overhead work on vehicles for extended periods.Driving Requirements:Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy and insurer requirementsAbility to safely operate company and customer vehicles.The physical requirements described above are representative of those necessary to perform the essential functions of this position. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $33.80.
