As a Supplier Operations Manager you will play a critical role in every aspect of quality control and fulfillment of our DNA kits to our customers. What you'll do...

• Own day to day relationship with one or more key supply partners. Such as laboratory, fulfillment, clearing house, manufacturing, transportation or bio-bank suppliers to insure SLA adherence, negotiation, quality standards, accuracy of billing etc.

• Lead weekly meetings with suppliers. Working with various levels at our supplier partners including Operations Managers and Account Managers.

• Compile data for monthly and quarterly business reviews

• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and customer experience

• Assist in the definition and documentation of processes

• Drive quality through regular quality check processes

• Communicate across multiple teams within Ancestry to address exceptions

• Work closely with customer service to follow up on customer issues requiring additional research and coordination

• Inventory reporting and assist in forecasting and coordination of purchasing

• • Assist in financial analysis and reconciliation of Accounts Payable data

• Inventory receiving, Purchase order generation, Invoice reconciliation and follow up

Who you are...

• B.S. or B.A. degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred

• 3 - 5 years of relevant operations experience, preferably with a consumer-facing web services brand

• Experience working with different cultures and international offices

• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills

• Excellent problem resolution skills

• Strong communication abilities including presentation experience

• Ability to work well in a cross-functional team

• Ability to work in a fast-paced complex environment with little direction

• Preferred passion for, or experience in, DNA and/or Family History research

As a signatory of the ParityPledge in Support of Women and the ParityPledge in Support of People of Color, Ancestry values pay transparency and pay equity. We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position: $ - $80,000 - $85,000 with eligibility for bonus, equity and comprehensive benefits including health, dental and vision. The actual salary will vary by geographic region and job experience. We will share detailed compensation data for a specific location during the recruiting process.
