Provider Analytics Consultant

Overview Provider Analytics Consultant (Business Information Consultant) role focused on data analysis, reporting, and providing guidance to other data analysts. This position is located in-office 1–2 days per week with hybrid/remote flexibility. Alternate locations may be considered if within commuting distance. Location & Work Arrangement This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week to foster collaboration, with a hybrid/virtual work approach to support productivity and work-life balance. Responsibilities Creates and maintains databases to track business performance. Analyzes data and summarizes performance using summary statistical procedures. Develops and analyzes business performance reports (e.g., claims data, provider data, utilization data) and notes deviations and anomalies. Creates and publishes periodic reports and ad hoc reports as needed. Translates business requirements into usable decision-support tools by identifying the best data to drive diagnostics and tracking. Provides analytic recommendations based on data analysis and offers analytic consultation to other business areas, leadership, or external customers. Engages in data analysis and reporting with a higher level of complexity as required. Minimum Requirements Requires a BS/BA degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience; or any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background. Preferred Skills, Capabilities, & Experiences Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake). Working experience with Python/R or equivalent analytical tools. Advanced Excel & SQL proficiency. Experience creating dashboards in Tableau. Ability to manipulate large data sets. Knowledge of provider data and/or provider network adequacy is preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and problem-solving skills. Experience with Quest Analytics (QAS/QES) is a plus.
