(Masking, grit blasting or chemical prep)Prepare paints. A high degree of accuracy is required.Use of viscosity cups, thickness gauges and gloss gauges to test makeup of paint and an understanding of chemistry mix of compounds is required.Clean work area. Knowledgeable in the safe handling and disposal of hazardous chemical and waste.Maintain equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining paint equipment and troubleshooting.Experience in high-end automotive or industrial equipment paint prepping. Sign industry experience preferred.Painters' only – Previous Experience painting in high-end automotive or industrial equipment environments. Ability to use hand and power tools and equipment Other duties as requiredQualifications Required:Experience in a fast-paced, high-production work environmentsRead, write, and speak EnglishSelf-motivated and work well in a team and independentlyExperience Required:Previous painting experience high-end automotive or industrial equipment, 1-2 years required.Competencies Required:May be required to stand for long periods of timeMay involve some repetitive motionsMust be able to lift to 75 pounds.May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containersAbility to be fitted for a Respirator, both Medically and PhysicallyOthers as deemed required by company to be safe for your role.
