Bilingual Behavioral Technician – Mercer County, NJ ($300 Sign-On Bonus)Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare provides Comprehensive Youth and Family Support Services to primary caregivers of children and teens with developmental and intellectual disabilities. We serve families across the state of New Jersey and are currently seeking dedicated Bilingual Behavioral Technicians to join our Mercer County team.Job SummaryAs a Bilingual Behavioral Technician, you will support children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center. Providers typically work 5–20 hours per week, with 2–4 hour shifts primarily scheduled in the evenings. Services are hands-off, emotionally supportive, and designed to promote client alertness, engagement, and emotional well-being.Roles & Responsibilities• Provide non-physical, emotional, and behavioral support to children and families • Ensure the safety and well-being of the client • Implement strategies outlined in each child's Individual Support Plan • Conduct functional assessments, including Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) • Use redirection strategies to manage behavioral concerns • Submit visit notes promptly following each session in accordance with organizational and compliance guidelines • Respond to crises using de-escalation and safety strategies • Engage clients in interest-based activities to support growth and awareness • Attend case reviews, team meetings, and required trainings • Follow all agency protocols, procedures, and professional guidelinesQualificationsAuthorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hireMust be working towards receiving their Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hireInitiative to frequently check emails for admin communicationsValid New Jersey Driver's LicenseMust pass all state and federal background checks A pre-employment, post conditional job offer drug screen is required for this role.Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates are encouraged to applyPathways for Qualification Based on New Jersey GuidelinesIf a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), you must at least have one year (1) of supervised experience in implementing behavior support plans for individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities; ORIf you have a Bachelor's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, special education, guidance and counseling, or social work, you must at least have one year (1) of supervised experience in implementing behavior support plans for individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities; ORIf with a High School Diploma or GED, you must at least have three (3) years of supervised experience in implementing behavior support plans for individualsSkills / Abilities• Active listening and emotional intelligence • Positive leadership and adaptability in dynamic environments • Patience, compassion, and empathy in client interactions • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Familiarity with evidence-based approaches for developmental disabilities • Proficiency in client engagement and behavioral redirection strategiesSign-On BonusWe are excited to offer a $300 sign-on bonus to new Behavioral Technicians who join our team in Mercer County!Bonus Structure: • $150 issued after 45 days of active employment • $150 issued after 60 days of active employment • Must meet all eligibility criteria throughout the bonus periodEligibility CriteriaTo qualify for the sign-on bonus, employees must: • Complete all onboarding and orientation requirements • Maintain a minimum weekly caseload of 2–3 assigned clients • Stay actively engaged and attend all scheduled sessions • Remain in good standing throughout the bonus periodDefinition of Good StandingAn employee is considered in good standing if they: • Consistently meet performance expectations and documentation deadlines • Have no active Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) or disciplinary actions • Maintain effective communication with supervisors and families • Comply with all attendance policies and case responsibilities NEUROPATH BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE
