An Expert BA able to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment is needed full time to perform analysis needed to implement an electronic health record system. Responsibilities Identify and document stakeholders, data flows, and current and future state process flows. Gather, document, validate, and manage business and functional and non-functional system requirements as input to the software application and other technology procurement and development process. Develop use cases. Document context diagrams, data flow, functional decomposition, and other diagrams in accordance with the state's architecture standards. Work with Technical Writer to deliver documents and other project artifacts, and coordinate/track reviews of vendor or internal deliverables by the team. Provide data analysis and develop reports. Assist the business in working with third-party vendors and in-house developers for software product implementations or enhancements. Work with internal and vendor developers and testers to confirm developed functionality meets acceptance criteria. Participate in gap analysis and system design activities, including documentation of wireframes. Assist the Business in planning, preparing for and conducting user acceptance testing, including developing test scenarios and test cases/scripts. Perform requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle to support user acceptance testing and release determination. Provide project administration support to project manager(s). Develop surveys and perform online market research. Assist the Business in identification of quantitative and qualitative benefits from new technology investments. Assist Project Managers in developing business cases for new EHR-related initiatives/projects. Develop data gathering tools and perform analysis as requested. Qualifications Health Information Technology experience/work history – Required, 3 Years Extensive knowledge of applicable business information systems, business system analysis techniques, and testing methodologies – Required, 7 Years Demonstrated experience in gathering and managing business requirements and developing business rules and process flows – Required, 7 Years Proven experience with business process design, definition and/or re-design – Required, 7 Years Experience with industry standard Business Analysis methodologies and problem solving – Required, 7 Years Experience in developing test scenarios and test cases and execution of user acceptance testing – Required, 7 Years Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Project – Required, 7 Years Excellent written and oral communication and ability to facilitate small to large meetings – Required, 7 Years Demonstrable analytical skills and attention to detail – Required, 7 Years Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills – Required, 7 Years Experience writing procurement documents including RFPs, RFQs, and contract amendments – Desired Knowledge of Micro Focus Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Quality Center (QC) – Highly desired, 5 Years Extensive experience working as a business analyst on agile scrum projects – Highly desired, 5 Years Knowledge of Jira and Confluence – Desired, 3 Years #J-18808-Ljbffr Remote Jobs
