Part‑time Retail Associate - 426 Oceanside Join our Smart & Final store operations team as a Part‑time Retail Associate at 1737 Oceanside Blvd, Oceanside, CA 92054, USA. The starting rate is $16.90 per hour. Smart & Final is an established grocery warehouse store offering fresh produce, quality meats, and a wide selection of groceries. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain a store section as assigned and stock merchandise using proper equipment (excluding power/heavy equipment). Ensure proper pricing, check product date codes for rotation, and stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, and refrigerated/frozen cases. Prepare perishable products for sale as needed. Set up advertising and promotional displays. Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of the store and parking lot as directed by store management. Provide friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance to customers by offering current store and product information. Assist customers with loading purchases into their vehicles when requested. Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools. What You’ll Bring Read and write English, interact with public and co‑workers. Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos. Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and employees. Apply common sense to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
