Job Summary:
A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Austin, Texas. This contract role involves working in a cardiovascular unit that specializes in diagnostic and interventional procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, peripheral procedures, and pacemaker or defibrillator implants. Candidates must bring their license on the first day and are required to have appropriate certifications. The role requires availability for scheduled shifts Monday through Friday and on-call responsibilities on evenings and weekends.

Job Details:

• Location: Austin, Texas
• Shift Time: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (Days)
• Schedule: 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); candidates without these skills will not be considered.
• Preferred Qualifications: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification; candidates with these skills will be considered first.
• Additional Information: The unit has 8 beds with a staff of 10, including 4 RNs and 3 cardiovascular technicians. The primary equipment used includes cardiovascular invasive procedures. The ideal candidate is a team player who adheres to unit dress codes, with scrubs in a ceiling blue color. On-call shifts are from 3:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with 48 hours on call during weekends.
• Responsibilities include supporting cardiac catheterizations, PCI, peripheral procedures, and pacemaker or defibrillator implantations, following unit policies and procedures.
