Our wage range is a realistic representation of the overall earnings opportunity when joining the Vireo Health of Rocky Mountain team, which includes prominent banners such as Star Buds, LivWell, and EveryDay Weed.What the role is about: As the Shift Lead, your role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of our stores, where exceptional customer service and operational efficiency intersect. You are a crucial link that aids the Store Director and Assistant Manager in maintaining a harmonious balance of adherence to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines while simultaneously enhancing the customer experience. Your contributions play a vital role in the overall success of our dispensary, making each customer visit a memorable one. The Shift Lead is a non-supervisory role, intricately woven into the fabric of our daily store operations, ensuring every aspect runs like a well-oiled machine.What impact you'll make:Customer Service (40%)Provide customers with a friendly and welcoming experience, assisting them as neededOffer product information and guidance, answering questions and helping customers find suitable productAddress customer inquiries and concerns, striving to ensure their satisfactionMaintain a clean and organized store environment to create an enjoyable shopping experienceCollaborate with the team to suggest improvements based on customer feedbackAssist with returns and exchanges, ensuring a hassle-free process for customersCash Handling and Transactions (25%)Support the team in training staff on proper cash handling and transaction proceduresWork together with colleagues to perform daily cash reconciliation and reportingCollaborate with the finance department to enhance cash flow and financial efficiencyParticipate in routine cash register audits to verify accurate cash handlingAssist in refining and simplifying cash handling procedures for the teamHelp colleagues with advanced cash register functionalities for smoother transactionsInventory Management (15%)Contribute to maintaining product quality and safety standardsSupport the organization of products for easy restocking and accessibilityCollaborate with the inventory management team to ensure accurate inventory levelsAssist in implementing in-store promotions and sales strategies to manage inventoryParticipate in monitoring supply chain performance and identifying process improvement opportunitiesCollaborate with team members to report and analyze product trends and customer preferencesPlease note that the percentage allocations are a general estimate and may vary based on business needs and priorities. Additional duties may be required as needed to support overall operations.What you've accomplished:High school diploma or equivalentMust be at least 21 years of agePrevious experience in a retail or customer service role is preferredKnowledge of cannabis and its products is a plusStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentProficient in cash handling and accurate basic math calculationsReliable, punctual, and possesses a strong work ethicWorking Conditions (Schedule, Environment, Travel)Ability to lift 25 lbs. or more multiple times per dayStores are open 7 days a week from 8:00 am – 11:45 pm (varying by location), nights, weekends & holidaysThe schedule will vary depending on the needs of the businessAbility to obtain and maintain an active Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) badge in the state of ColoradoWhy Choose Vireo?
