Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Operate nuclear medicine equipment to acquire diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
  
  
• 
  Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely, following all regulatory guidelines.
  
  
• 
  Verify patient identities and explain procedures to ensure patient comfort and cooperation.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, radiopharmaceuticals, and patient data.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to radiation safety protocols and proper disposal of radioactive materials.
  
  
• 
  Assist in quality control and equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a permanent Ohio license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist; compact licenses accepted for starts after 1/1/23.
  
  
• 
  Possess a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in nuclear medicine.
  
  
• 
  Be registered or certified with active credentials, with no pending certifications.
  
  
• 
  Have at least two recent references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months.
  
  
• 
  Complete ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment with acceptable scores.
  
  
• 
  Successfully pass a BG drug screen within 12 months; no open cases or license hits allowed.
