Industrial Electrician

Industrial Electrician We are seeking an Industrial Electrician to join our team in a cold storage facility. This role involves working with various electrical systems, including 490 V, 120vAC, and 24vDC. We are looking for candidates with intermediate experience, although training can be provided for the right individual. Responsibilities Work with 490 V, 120vAC, and 24vDC electrical systems. Troubleshoot and replace drives. Troubleshoot switches, proxes, and photoeyes. Work with basic HMI systems, with a focus on replacement rather than programming. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Perform conduit bending and wiring tasks. Essential Skills Experience with electrical systems, including 480 V, 24vDC, and 120vAC. Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical components. Familiarity with basic HMIs and ability to replace and troubleshoot drives. Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics. Additional Skills & Qualifications Solid work tenure is preferred. Ability to work independently and learn new skills on the job. Why Work Here? Work Environment You will be working in a cold storage environment, which is located near fish, shellfish, and other common allergens. The position requires working day shifts from 5 am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday, with every other Saturday required unless you choose to volunteer for additional shifts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Newport News, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
