As a Locum OB Hospitalist, you'll play a vital role in delivering top-tier obstetric care to a lively community with approximately 2,700 to 3,000 births annually. Your expertise will be crucial in managing routine deliveries, obstetric emergencies, and NICU Level 3 cases, ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and newborns. The position offers an engaging and fast-paced hospital environment where your skills can truly shine.

Required Skills:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• U.S. medical license in good standing
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience in obstetric and gynecological emergency management
• Ability to handle high-volume deliveries and complex obstetrics cases
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in a Level 3 NICU environment
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Prior locum or temporary hospitalist work experience
• Additional certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• At least 3+ years of obstetric practice, including high-volume delivery settings
• Recent experience in hospital-based OB/GYN care and emergency management

Other Requirements:

• Current medical licensure valid in Missouri
• Up-to-date certifications, including ACLS, NRP, and BLS
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Travel reimbursement and licensing support when applicable
