About This Role

Located in the heart of North Conway, The Lilliputian School is a non-profit community school providing a unique learning environment for young children in the Mount Washington Valley for over 4 decades. Our program is outdoor based and children spend 2-5 hours outside each day. The Floater position supports the Teachers and the Director by helping to create a caring and safe environment for the children and assisting in activities to improve the overall care and quality of education. S/he must be able to communicate, listen and work well with others in a team environment. This position is part-time, with the possibility of additional hours. The Lilliputian School provides a s upportive, professional and collaborative work environment, as well as benefits and competitive pay for part-time positions.

• Monday 11:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Tuesday 11:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Wednesday 11:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Thursday 11:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Friday 11:30 AM - 4:30 PM

• Provide additional support to teachers in our 2-3.5, and 3.5-6 year old classrooms.
• Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of classroom materials.
• Oversee aftercare everyday from 3:15-4:15.
• Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
• Help ensure smooth, daily transitions.
• Follow all center policies and state regulations.
• Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

• Must be 18 to appply and have high school diploma.
• Must have or be willing to get CPR/First Aid Training.
• Must clear background record check.
• Ideal candidate will have at least 9 Early Childhood Credits, including human/child development.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
