Hands-On IT Manager - Onsite

Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on IT Manager to help strengthen and scale the IT function within a rapidly growing organization. This individual will assess current processes, resolve existing IT challenges, and build a Service Desk team from the ground up to provide reliable, responsive technical support.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Windows environments, SharePoint, and IT security, along with the leadership skills to improve operations, establish best practices, and develop scalable support processes. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional who enjoys being both technically involved and strategically minded, with the potential to transition into a Director-level role as the organization continues to grow.

Work Schedule:

Onsite Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.

High-level job description:

• Owns day to day reliability, support and operational execution for corporate technology env
• High service culture
• Proactively identifying and resolving operational risks before they reach leadership (end point, sso)
• Come up with production plan, AV test primary/backup connectivity, backup laptops, failure scenario's, escalation tree and rehearsal schedule for companywide meetings
• Owns help desk performance and employee experience
• Manage ticket intake, prioritization, escalation and manage work based on SLA's
• Establish knowledge base/self service
• Follow through on commitments and follow up with people when they said they would
• Recommend strategy for hospital technology roadmap
• Recommend tools that are best for the business not just what they are comfortable with through rigorous requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement
• Identify recurring problems and eliminate root cause issues
