Lead, Program ManagementThe Program Manager directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Drives program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs. This position will be supporting the Exquisite Imaging Solutions Business Area in the Space Superiority & Imaging Division.Essential Functions:Management of programs involving advanced electro-optical technology for space applications that are of significant strategic importance to the business area.Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, Statement of Work, specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract.Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.Collaborating on strategic roadmaps that align with the customer roadmaps to expand the business.Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical and administrative areas.Leads competitive and sole source pursuits and proposals.Establishing and executing program plans in a firm fixed price program constructProvide support to capture management efforts of additional scope, as well as support technology investment plansFostering career development of team members through on-the-job mentoring.Effectively communicating within the team, upward with internal executive leadership, and externally with the customer to influence stakeholders for business success.Working collaboratively with the functional organizations to ensure that all resources are available, capable, and empowered to meet program goals.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.Preferred Additional Skills:Proposal management experienceRisk managementExperience managing hardware development effortsEVMS expertisePMP CertificationIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $110,500 - $205,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
