Safety Coordinator

Safety Coordinator (Full‑Time) We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Safety Coordinator to join our team and help support safety initiatives across our operations. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain company safety programs and procedures. Conduct safety orientations and training for new and existing employees. Ensure compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and company safety standards. Support supervisors and field crews in identifying hazards before work begins. Perform site inspections, audits, and risk assessments. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near‑mises and recommend corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of inspections, training, and incident reports. Promote proactive safety practices including near‑miss reporting and safety observations. Monitor PPE usage and overall safety equipment condition. Collaborate with leadership and field personnel to maintain a strong safety culture. Qualifications Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or related field preferred. 1–3 years of experience in a safety‑related role. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards. Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office and safety management software. Valid driver’s license required. Preferred Certifications OSHA 30‑Hour Certification. First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Certification. Work Environment Visiting industrial and construction job sites.
