US Client Accounting Services (CAS) Senior Associate - Day Shift

As CAS Senior Associate you shall perform the following functions:Record and reconcile client deposit and disbursement transactions, including preparation and review of adjusting journal entriesReconcile bank and credit card statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerProcess payroll in ADP and ensure compliance with IRS and Department of Labor regulationsManage client accounts payable functions using BILL (formerly bill.com)Maintain proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop and Online) to accurately record and review transactionsAnalyze general ledger accounts to identify errors, variances, and required correctionsPrepare monthly standardized financial statements for review by the project managerOrganize and maintain accounting workpapers, client data, and files in a clear and auditable mannerReview CAS workpapers prepared by accountants and provide timely, constructive feedbackOversee quality of deliverables and ensure compliance with accounting procedures and reporting standardsManage assignments and deadlines for a team of accountants, ensuring timely and accurate completion of deliverablesMonitor project budgets and support utilization planning within the departmentParticipate in the hiring, evaluation, and bi-yearly performance review process of CAS personnelProvide ongoing coaching and foster a culture of accountability and professional growthServe as primary contact for assigned client accounts, communicating updates, addressing challenges, and identifying opportunities for improvement or additional servicesCoordinate with US CAS personnel on project timing, workload capacity, and deliverable expectations to ensure alignment between PH and US teamsCommunicate accounting updates, risks, and performance results to internal and external stakeholdersIdentify cross-functional issues and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and PH–UScollaborationAlign team deliverables with departmental and firm-wide strategic goalsDemonstrate strong analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skillsExhibit sound judgment and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive informationManage time effectively, prioritize competing deadlines, and operate independently and within a team environmentMaintain proficiency in Office 365 (particularly Excel and Word) and demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologiesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)Demonstrated leadership, communication, and sound decision-making abilitiesProven experience coaching teams and managing performancePreferred QualificationsCPA or comparable professional certificationBackground in public accounting or audit4+ years of progressive, full-cycle accounting experience, including at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory capacityExperience with advanced financial systems, ERP platforms, and cloud-based integrationsHands-on experience with QBO, Xero, Bill, Ramp, and GustoWhy Choose Sorren?At Sorren, we’re invested in your growth and committed to helping you build a rewarding career.
