Physical Therapist

The position requires the clinician to provide physical therapy services in an acute care setting. Coverage areas include orthopedics, neurology, trauma, and post-surgical care. The role may involve working within intensive care units or managing general hospital floors. The clinician will be responsible for evaluating patients' physical and functional status. This includes establishing therapy goals and formulating treatment plans consistent with those goals. The clinician must observe patient progress, document status, and assist support staff as needed. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members. Attention to detail and the ability to process and document information accurately are critical. Candidates must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate patient care for the populations served.
