Patient Access Rep l - Scheduling - Clearwater (Must reside in FL)

Overview In this role you will be responsible for scheduling appointments for all FOI patients in an accurate, professional manner. Responsibilities Register all new patients in the computer system by obtaining patient demographics and insurance information. Schedule appointments according to patient need and physician protocol. Handle requests for add-on appointments immediately according to physician protocols. Update established patients' insurance as needed. Verify all established patients' personal information and insurance information as needed. Assure compliance with all company plans, policies and procedures set forth by the Florida Orthopaedic Institute. All other duties as assigned. About You High School Diploma 2 years experience in a medical environment Excellent customer service and communication skills. Able to multi-task and handle high volume of calls.
