About the Position

Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Computed Tomography (CT) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Saturday/Sunday 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM and Tuesday 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Experience: 2+ years current CT Tech experience in a hospital setting License: New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Clienttion Therapy License Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, Active American Registration of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Must-Have: - Proficiency in Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portables, and OR c-arm - Experience with all age groups - Previous travel experience is preferred Description: Positions patients on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices as needed to obtain optimum views of specified areas of the body requested by the physician. Capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures. Moves radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment into specified positions and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance. Operates film processing equipment. Operates mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in operating rooms, emergency rooms, or at patients' bedside. Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff. Ability to prioritize and organize daily work flow. Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills are required. Dress code includes hospital blue scrubs (provided), business casual with a lab coat, and basic plain personal scrubs. No hooded sweatshirts are permitted. Closed-toe shoes, such as sneakers or clogs, are required. Hair must be worn pulled back if longer than shoulder length, with no dangling earrings. Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified during profile upload. Requests for time off after upload or during interview will not be approved. No more than five days of time off will be accepted. Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.
