Our caregivers provide basic home care services, supporting clients who need assistance with activities of daily living. Our personal, hands-on approach can range from companionship care to various non-medical services, including light housework, hygiene assistance, and transportation.ResponsibilitiesAssist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)Assist clients with personal care and hygieneHelp clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercisesDo the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if neededPerform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing mealsCollect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family membersReport any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family membersAct quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencyRequirementsPrevious caregiver experience preferred but not requiredCurrent CPR (American Heart Association) Certification preferredWillingness to adhere to health and safety standardsKnowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraintsMust be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside mannerOutstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skillsPhysical endurance to complete required tasksHigh school diploma or equivalentWe are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws
