Senior FP&A Analyst

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Own and enhance regular financial and operational reporting Analyze sales, margin, customer, subscription, marketing and operational performance, identifying trends and explaining variances to budget, forecast and prior year Identify key risks and opportunities and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders Support month-end reporting and management accounts analysis Forecasting & Planning Develop and maintain financial models to support commercial forecasting Partner with business teams to develop assumptions and provide analytical support for regular and ad hoc forecasts Support and/or lead elements of the annual budget, reforecast and long-range planning processes Business Partnering Act as a trusted finance partner to functional leaders Evaluate new initiatives, commercial investments, promotions and partner opportunities Translate complex data into meaningful business insights Data & Reporting Development Support the development of Power BI dashboards and reporting suites that improve visibility and usability of financial and operational data Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives Ad Hoc & Strategic Projects Support board reporting, management presentations, and strategic initiatives Undertake deep-dive analysis on specific business questions, such as customer behavior, profitability, marketing effectiveness and operational efficiency Support partner reporting, royalty calculations or other business cases as required Participate in cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field preferred 3+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, financial analysis, business analytics or a related analytical role Experience supporting budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, performance reporting and financial modelling Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to work confidently with large data sets and build accurate, flexible models Experience with Power BI or similar a plus SUCCESS FACTORS The successful candidate will: Self-motivated and commercially curious, with the ability to connect financial results to underlying business drivers High attention to detail and comfort working with ambiguity Display passion and an inquisitive mindset Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex information to finance and non-finance stakeholders Take ownership of projects and drive results independently Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and reporting capabilities Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Collaborative team player who builds strong working relationships across departments Interest in wine is welcome, but not essential BENEFITS 401(k) with employer match Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits Company-paid Life and Disability Insurance Flexible Time Off Paid Holidays Employee wine discounts and special offers Ongoing personal and professional development opportunities OUR COMPANY Direct Wines, Inc. is a dynamic, innovative, wine-loving company that helps consumers across the U.S. discover exciting wines that are perfectly suited to their tastes – all with the convenience of home delivery.
