Summary

The responsibility of the Aircraft Maintenance Control Coordinator is to perform a variety of basic office duties including, filing, record keeping and data entry for the Maintenance department.

Essential Functions

• Heavy data entry involving input & cataloging of work order invoices using web based software.
• Responsible for keeping aircraft records organized and periodically auditing log books versus event tracking software.
• Making logbook entries for all maintenance performed on fleet including: 100 hour / Annual Inspections & unscheduled maintenance events.
• Opening work orders, ensuring accuracy of scheduled maintenance event compliance, and returning aircraft to service after licensed mechanics approval
• Ensuring that scheduled and unscheduled maintenance paperwork is completed correctly by mechanics with the assistance of management
• Preparing paperwork for scheduled maintenance events - 100 Hour / Annual Inspection
• Organizing a weekly report detailing an overview of scheduled maintenance
• Assisting management with improving maintenance paperwork processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Managing expense reports for company credit card use and employee reimbursement
• Assisting management with record keeping of the status of large-scale maintenance projects
• Making time punch adjustments for maintenance employees
• Assisting management with FAA inquiries by providing aircraft maintenance records
• Resource management system (RMS) optimization and cross training

Physical Demands

• Stationary position: Must be able to to remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the time.
• Move, Traverse: The person in this position need to occasionally move about the campus.
• Communicate: The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information.
• Ascend/Descend: Must be able to walk up and down stairways.
• Operate: Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment: phone, printer/copier, etc.
• Detect: The ability to observe details at close range

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

Full time: Monday - Friday 9am-6pm, 1 hour lunch

Travel

Some travel: 10-15%

Required Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent

A basic understanding of Microsoft Office is needed with an emphasis on Excel.

Preferred Education and Experience

At least 2 years of data entry experience preferred

Aviation experience preferred

Advanced understanding of Excel is preferred
