Cardiac Care Advanced Practice Provider

Seeking a Cardiac Care Advanced Practice Provider for an outpatient and inpatient role, including stress lab responsibilities. Standard office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8am to 5pm and Friday from 8am to 12pm. There is protected administrative time of 4 hours per week. The patient schedule consists of 20 minutes for new patients and 20 minutes for follow-ups. The call schedule involves collaboration with interventional cardiac care and non-invasive physicians. There are currently 5 doctors in the group, with plans to expand to 7. Five advanced practice providers are employed to cover clinic and inpatient consults, as well as the stress lab. This role will require covering both the stress lab and clinic. Support staff includes a dedicated team of nurses, front office staff, ultrasound technicians, and experienced registered nurses with cardiac care expertise. There is also support from three interventional cardiologists and APP imaging staff. The electronic medical record system used is Cerner. The primary patient demographic is adults aged 55 and older, including smokers and individuals with peripheral cardiac care conditions such as claudication. Ultrasound workflow indicates that 8 out of 10 referrals require an ultrasound before an appointment, which is reviewed by the cardiac care surgery team and scheduled by the front office staff. The patient volume is 60-75 referrals per month. A sign-on bonus of $5k+ is available to assist with the transition.
