Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 25-bed ICU at a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Titrate vasoactive and inotrope medications and manage hemodynamic monitoring equipment
• Assist with and monitor patients following intubation, central line and arterial line placement, and chest tube placement
• Operate and interpret data from GE Monitors, Hamilton BiPAPs and high-flow devices, Puritan ventilators, and Hemospheres
• Complete bedside shift report and update MyCare boards at each change of shift
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Strong telemetry skills
• Experience titrating vasoactive and inotrope medications
• Chest tube experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Open heart surgery patient care experience
• Temporary pacing experience
• Swan-Ganz catheter experience
