Corporate Tax Manager - Oxford

Location: Oxford, England Sector: Accountancy (Qualified) Benefits: Highly Competitive Corporate Tax Manager - Oxford Clark Wood has been instructed to present a managerial level opportunity for a nationally recognised large regional firm in Oxford. This role offers the chance to focus on interesting and challenging compliance and advisory work for a mixed portfolio of OMB and SME tax clients. Ideal candidate will be CTA/ATT Qualified, with experience as Assistant Manager, Manager, or Senior Manager, managing a department and a large complex portfolio of tax clients. Experience in UK tax issues, business and corporate tax matters, business reorganisations, reconstructions, demergers, share schemes, EIS/SEIS, R&D tax credits, M&A, acquisitions, disposals, exit planning and succession planning is required. Responsibilities Provide high level compliance and advisory/planning services with a great deal of autonomy. Business development and networking: develop client services and grow tax portfolio. Increase awareness and exposure of the firm's tax services. Qualifications CTA or ATT Qualified. Proven track record of business development. Experience at Assistant Manager, Manager, or Senior Manager level. Strong technical skills and thorough understanding of UK tax issues. Experience managing a department and a large complex portfolio of tax clients. Location & Commute This Oxford office is commutable from areas all across Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire regions, including Didcot, Abingdon, Newbury, Reading, Henley, Bicester and Banbury.
