Vendor Quality Management Manager

Job Profile Summary:
Vendor Quality Management Manager Work Arrangement: 100% Remote
Contract Duration: 6+ Months




The role focuses on proactively assessing vendor risks within GMP/GDP environments and translating risk assessments into actionable insights and recommendations. The position also involves ensuring appropriate oversight of third-party vendors and improving quality management processes, tools, and systems.




Key Responsibilities:




Monitor vendor performance metrics and dashboards to identify emerging trends.
Assess, manage, and mitigate risks associated with vendors.
Support the development and implementation of processes for vendor risk management and reporting.
Lead and participate in process and system improvement initiatives as a Vendor Quality Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Provide onsite support during regulatory inspections, including front-room and back-room activities.
Communicate vendor risk insights and their potential impact in quality and business forums.




Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of GMP/GDP regulatory requirements.
Experience with vendor KPIs, quality metrics, and performance monitoring.
Expertise in risk assessment related to third-party vendors and suppliers.
Excellent analytical, mathematical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a matrixed environment.
Bachelor's degree in a scientific or allied health field, or a comparable discipline.
Typically, 6 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
