Our mission is to strengthen Delaware by maximizing community-based philanthropy, and we are looking for a Director of Philanthropy to help us do more of it. In this role, you will build lasting relationships with major fundholders and grow our network of professional advisors, with a focus on the region north of the C&D Canal. You will work closely with the Vice President for Philanthropy & Southern Delaware, lead a team member and collaborate across the organization to shape campaigns and strategies that grow assets for Delaware's future. You might be a great fit if you Have five or more years of fundraising experience building and stewarding donor relationships Know Delaware's philanthropic landscape and bring a network to match Communicate clearly and persuasively, in writing and in person Exercise sound judgment and discretion with confidential information Find joy in helping people turn their generosity into lasting impact Experience with major gift or endowment campaigns and planned giving is a plus.
