Lead Teacher

KinderCare seeks Lead Teachers for our Matteson center to guide children’s learning and development in a warm, engaging setting. Lead Teachers design and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons that spark curiosity, build early academic and social-emotional skills, and support each child’s unique potential. In this role, you’ll create a safe, inclusive classroom, model positive behavior, and collaborate with assistant staff to maintain a structured, caring environment. You’ll build strong relationships with families through regular communication about progress and milestones, while carefully observing and documenting children’s growth. Lead Teachers partner with center leadership to align with KinderCare’s curriculum and quality standards, participate in ongoing training, and contribute to a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous learning. This position is ideal for educators passionate about early childhood education who want to make a lasting impact on children’s lives while growing their own careers.
