As a Financial Operations Analyst with Special School District, you will use your analytical skills to help the Finance team understand trends, anticipate needs, and make informed decisions about District resources. You will work across Finance to strengthen processes, support major initiatives, and build shared knowledge that helps critical work continue smoothly as systems and responsibilities evolve. From financial analysis and reporting to process and technology improvements, your work will give District leaders reliable information and help build efficient, sustainable financial operations. Financial analysts work at our Central Office, 12110 Clayton Road, Town & Country, MO, 63131, Monday through Friday, typically from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required A minimum of three years of progressive responsibility with financial analysis, accounting, governmental accounting, budgeting, auditing, or financial operations required Experience analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and communicating findings to organizational leadership required Experience with governmental or public-sector finance preferred; Missouri public school finance experience strongly preferred Experience supporting federal grants, financial audits, enterprise resource planning systems, or internal control processes preferred Experience compiling and analyzing large datasets and communicating financial information and recommendations through clear written reports, presentations, and graphical representations required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations CPA, SFO, CGFM, or other related certification preferred Postingopen until: 10/05/2026 Salary $90,000 - $100,000/year based on education and experience Calendar 12-month position Benefits Group benefit plans for medical, vision, dental, and life insurance Enrollment in Missouri Public School Retirement Systems Paid holidays 15 PTO days per year 20 vacation days accrued annually Employee assistance program Healthcare spending account Special School District serves nearly 25,000 students and employs over 5,700 staff in St. Louis County.
