Interventional Radiology Technologist

This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology. Call required 1-2 times a week at night and every 4th weekend. Skills required include: ASD closures, cardiac ablation, cardiac implant closure device, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, carotid stenting, diagnostic cardiac catheterization, endovascular interventions, equipment setup, interpretation of dysrhythmias, left heart catheterization, pacemaker insertion, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias. Familiarity with GE imaging equipment preferred. Position involves working with adults and geriatric patients. Expected patient visits per day are approximately 7. The work environment includes 2 rooms with a total of 9 beds. Interdisciplinary support services are available. There is a strict compliance deadline for credentialing. The candidate must complete fingerprinting as soon as possible after booking. Two professional references are required, including one from a leadership or supervisory role.
