VA Blackstone FASTC - Blackstone, VA 23824 US (Primary) Category: Installation Maintenance and Repair Job Type: Full-time Typical Pay/Range: $61,000 – $80,000 Yearly Education: High School Diploma or GED Travel: Up to 25% Security Clearance Required: Secret Position Overview and Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions) The Master Electrician is responsible for overseeing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs across the facility. This role ensures that all electrical work is completed to industry, federal, and DOS standards, and manages teams of electricians to deliver safe, compliant, and high‑quality service. Lead electrical installation and maintenance tasks from conception through completion. Supervise and coordinate teams of electricians to ensure efficient workflow and compliance. Provide technical expertise in electrical systems, codes, and regulations to support projects. Ensure all electrical activities meet safety standards, codes, and contract requirements. Inspect and test installations, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis. Maintain accurate records and reports on electrical maintenance and repairs. Work in both office and field environments and may be required to respond to emergency calls or perform overtime work. Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds and working in confined spaces and heights under various environmental conditions. Required Qualifications and Experience Secret Clearance required. At least 5 years of relevant experience. High school diploma required. Must possess a valid Master Electrician License. Extensive knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and system operations.
