Ebenezer Child Care Centers is looking for an enthusiastic center director ready to bring energy, creativity, and leadership to one of our 5-Star early childhood programs. What Does a Center Director Do?

As a center director, you're the heartbeat of your center. You'll lead your team, support teachers, partner with families, celebrate children, tackle challenges, and help create a center where people genuinely want to be. Some days you'll be planning and problem-solving. Other days you might jump into a classroom, celebrate a child's accomplishment, support a teacher, or simply share a laugh with your team.

No two days are exactly alike—and that's what makes this job so much fun!

In this role, you will:

• Lead the way by overseeing daily operations and keeping things running smoothly.
• Build your team by recruiting, mentoring, encouraging, and supporting staff.
• Build relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Champion great teaching by supporting our E.P.I.C. Curriculum Framework and high-quality early learning practices.
• Keep things moving by managing staffing, scheduling, enrollment, documentation, and compliance.
• Partner with families by listening, communicating, solving problems, and celebrating successes.
• Create a place people love by keeping your center welcoming, safe, engaging, and full of positive energy.
• Be a problem solver who can stay calm, think creatively, and find solutions.

You are someone who:

• Loves working with people and building relationships.

• Is confident making decisions and taking ownership.

• Is creative, curious, and always looking for ways to make things better.
• Has a genuine passion for early childhood education.

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, child development, or a related field preferred; associate's degree considered with relevant experience.
• Previous early childhood experience, preferably in a leadership or administrative role.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Wisconsin childcare licensing regulations and early childhood best practices.
• A collaborative, positive leadership style.
• Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for children, families, and teachers.
• CPR and first aid certification, or ability to obtain within three months.
• Successful completion of required background check, health screening, and TB test.
