Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 0700 - 1930 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Must-Have: - Complete health screening requirements - Successful background check - Proof of required vaccinations Description: The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery specialty. Key responsibilities include monitoring patients throughout labor and delivery. The nurse will assist with the delivery process and provide support to both the mother and newborn. Collaboration with the healthcare team is essential to ensure the best outcomes for patients. The role includes documenting patient care in a timely and accurate manner. The nurse will also advocate for patients' needs and preferences. Continuous education and competency validation are expected. Compliance with all health and safety regulations is required. Attendance at mandatory training sessions is necessary. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care is essential.
