Oncology Registered Nurse - Medina, OH

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent nursing experience in medical-surgical oncology
• BLS certification; additional oncology certifications preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving care environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care to oncology and medical-surgical patients, ensuring adherence to individualized care plans
• Monitor patients' conditions, administer chemotherapy or other prescribed treatments, and document care accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to coordinate comprehensive treatment strategies
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families regarding diagnosis, procedures, and ongoing care needs
• Manage medication administration, including timing, dosage, and monitoring for adverse reactions
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive healthcare environment
• Adhere to infection control and safety procedures at all times
