Job Summary
The ICU Nursing Specialty is hosting a day shift position located in Pleasanton, California. The role involves providing comprehensive, evidence-based critical care to patients in the intensive care unit. The Nurse will perform all aspects of the nursing process, collaborate with the healthcare team, and deliver patient-centered care in accordance with regulatory standards, hospital policies, and the Scope of Practice of the California Nursing Practice Act. Job Details

• Location: Pleasanton, CA
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: CA-RN (Registered Nurse), current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred, a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an ICU setting, effective communication skills in English
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in critical care environments, certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or other relevant specialty credentials
• Additional Information: The Nurse will create a healing environment by providing emotional support, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized care plans, and teaching both patients and their families. The role involves responding promptly to emergency situations, participating in team-based care, and contributing to continual improvement initiatives within the unit. The position requires a commitment to professional development, including licensure renewal and lifelong learning activities.
