We are seeking a driven and technically skilled Sales Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for executing the Company's sales strategy to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and strengthen customer relationships. The Sales Technician serves as a key liaison between customers, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Marketing, ensuring customer requirements are effectively translated into innovative and profitable business solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, project management skills, and a passion for developing customer relationships while supporting new product development and manufacturing excellence.

Essential Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Development

• Serve as the primary sales contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Promote company products and capabilities to existing and prospective customers.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to support business growth.
• Gather and report market intelligence, including pricing trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with customers to develop conceptual designs and product solutions that meet application requirements.

Technical Support & Product Development

• Work closely with customers and internal teams to provide technical assistance related to product and process development.
• Support the development, evaluation, and implementation of new products and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to ensure designs are optimized for production and quality requirements.
• Organize and facilitate meetings with customers, management, engineering, and manufacturing teams to coordinate project activities.

Program & Project Management

• Serve as Program Manager for new product launches and development initiatives.
• Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and communication between customers and internal departments.
• Monitor project progress to ensure successful execution and customer satisfaction.

Manufacturing & Process Improvement

• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods using knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling, assembly methods, and production capabilities.
• Conduct testing and evaluation of manufacturing equipment and components to improve performance, quality, and efficiency.
• Analyze workforce utilization, workflow, and facility requirements to support operational improvements.
• Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and associated costs for new and existing programs.
• Support quality control and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing process.

Vendor & Supplier Management

• Interact with vendors to determine equipment, material, and component specifications.
• Negotiate costs and support sourcing decisions for materials, equipment, and production components.
• Evaluate supplier products against technical specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Technical Studies, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
