This facility is a 100+ bed hospital providing cardiothoracic surgical services within an on-site setting. The medical center maintains established surgical infrastructure and protocols to support quality patient care delivery. Support systems are in place to ensure coordinated care across the cardiothoracic surgery service line.

Florida offers a range of regional attractions suited to varied interests, including outdoor recreation, year-round warm weather activities, and access to ecological and coastal environments. The state features extensive waterways and natural areas that support activities such as fishing, eco tours, and wildlife observation. Additional regional experiences include water-based recreation and access to space and science destinations across the state.

The physician associate will provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage Monday through Friday on 10-hour day shifts, with weeknight call averaging 20 nights per month and 24-hour call coverage every weekend in August. Clinical responsibilities encompass full scope cardiothoracic surgery services across operating room and full scope settings. Clinicians will perform procedures including Maquet EVH as part of the surgical service line. Call coverage is required as a condition of this assignment.
