777X Structural Analysis Engineer (Experienced, Senior and Lead) Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) 777X Program is seeking Structural Analysis Engineers (Level 3 and Level 4) to join our dynamic Engineering Team in Berkeley, Missouri. This position will be 100% onsite in Berkeley, Missouri. The 777X is a next-generation widebody passenger airplane program supporting commercial customers worldwide. As a Structural Analysis Engineer, you will contribute to the structural certification deliverables for multiple aircraft variants and support key rate initiatives to meet the growing customer order backlog. Position Responsibilities: (Level 3) • Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements to establish the system design. • Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product’s environment. • Guide product design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle. • Develop test plans and configurations, support test execution, and analyze/report test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. • Define and document certification and test results to substantiate compliance for customers and regulatory agencies. • Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements. • Work under general direction. This position will be 100% onsite in Berkeley, MO. This position does not require a security clearance. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences) • (Level 3) 5+ years of related engineering experience. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): • (Level 4) 9+ years of related engineering experience. • Experience in commercial aircraft stress and structural analysis. • Experience with metallic and composite structural analysis. • Experience with Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Analysis. • Familiarity with Boeing analysis tools such as Common Structures Workstation, IAS, CASTLE, CATIA V5, and ENOVIA.
