PRN Dietary Cook Needed

Compass Intervention Center is seeking a dynamic and talented Dietary Cook. Our mission is to provide superior behavioral healthcare services that patients recommend to family and friends; physicians choose for their patients; purchasers select for their clients; and employees are proud of. The Dietary Cook is responsible for the provision of quality meals and nutritional services to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures of the Dietary Department. Key responsibilities include providing nutritional and attractive meals for patients, maintaining an organized and sanitary environment, ensuring proper storage of food and supplies, and ensuring compliance with all federal and state laws, rules/regulations of licensing agencies, and with JCAHO standards for the quality of patient care.

Position requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and prefer prior dietary experience in a facility, health care setting. Prefer knowledge of equipment usage including stoves, ovens, steamer, fryer, grill, electric mixer, dishwashing machines, microwave, food charts.
