Electronic Health Record (EHR) Data Conversion Senior Consultant

An Electronic Health Record (EHR) Data Conversion Senior Consultant has experience with the Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) of EHR data.

The EHR Data Conversion Senior Consultant should have an understanding of HL7 and CCDA formats.

Responsibilities:

• Independently applies theories, concepts, principles and methodologies in consulting assignments to identify and solve a client's complex technical problems using industry-standard best practices.
• Supports the creation of artifacts including business requirements documents, technology requirements documents, technology architecture and system design documents, test plans, implementation plans and user documentation.
• Develops and implements technology solutions that meet a client's business strategy and requirements, as well as the client's technology strategy and requirements.
• Builds project plans and leads 2-3 consultants and 2-4 client personnel in the delivery of small projects of low complexity with responsibility for quality and project profitability.
• Identifies additional Client products and services that may benefit the client's organization.
• Participates in business development, proposal development, client presentations, marketing and thought leadership.
• Participates in training to improve consulting, communication, technology advisory, industry-specific skills, and career development, enabling advancement to the Consulting Manager role.

Skills, Experience, Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience, or a Master's degree and 3+ years of experience, with technical degrees strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of consulting or client-focused experience in a healthcare environment.
• Experience implementing or leading large-scale EHR (Allscripts, blueEHR, Cerner, eClinical Works, Epic, MEDITECH, McKesson) implementation initiatives.
• Experience supporting the deployment of EHR applications.
• Familiarity with Agile software development is preferred.
• An understanding of cloud-based technologies like Amazon Web Services (AWS) is preferred.
• Experience with open-source technologies including PHP, MySQL, CouchDB, and SELinux is preferred.
• Experience in clinical workflow redesign is preferred.
• Must be willing to travel and work remotely for periods of time.
