Advantic Building Group is a design-build structural solutions company focused on building smarter, lighter, and more efficient infrastructure. We design, fabricate, and install systems using Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) — a high-performance material that helps our partners move faster, build safer, and reduce long-term impact across mission‑critical and industrial environments. But what truly sets Advantic apart isn’t just what we build — it’s how we work and who we work with. We value individuals who are curious, accountable, and willing to lean in when things get challenging. At Advantic, culture isn’t a poster on the wall — it’s lived out every day in how we collaborate, problem‑solve, and support one another. If you’re looking for a place where your voice matters, your work has impact, and your growth is encouraged, you’ll feel at home here. The Superintendent is responsible for leading all on‑site construction operations for assigned projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in alignment with contract requirements and quality standards. This role provides direct oversight of field personnel, subcontractors, and daily construction activities while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence. The Superintendent partners closely with Project Management to execute construction schedules, coordinate manpower and site logistics, resolve field issues, and maintain consistent communication across all stakeholders. Additionally, this role oversees field quality control, enforces OSHA and company safety standards, maintains accurate project documentation and reporting, and drives projects through successful completion and client acceptance. This role is designated as on‑site and requires full‑time presence at the assigned active project location. The Site Superintendent is the primary field leader on‑site, responsible for the day‑to‑day execution of construction activities, crew coordination, and maintaining Advantic Building Group’s standards for safety, quality, and schedule. Travel may be required based on project location. We are committed to supporting our field leaders with the resources, tools, and planning they need to execute safely, on schedule, and to the high standards Advantic Building Group’s clients expect. Key Responsibilities Manage all day‑to‑day field construction activities on an assigned project site, ensuring work is executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents and quality standards. Supervise and direct foremen and craft workers on‑site; set clear expectations, provide real‑time feedback, and foster a team culture rooted in safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Enforce Advantic Building Group’s safety program on‑site; lead daily toolbox talks and safety meetings, conduct hazard assessments, ensure OSHA compliance, and respond immediately to incidents or near‑misses. Coordinate closely with the assigned Project Manager and General Superintendent to execute the construction schedule, phasing plans, and manpower needs. Oversee subcontractor performance on‑site; coordinate daily scopes of work, resolve field conflicts, and ensure all trades meet quality, schedule, and safety expectations. Conduct field quality control activities, including inspection of FRP installations, verification of as‑built conditions, and punch list coordination through final project acceptance. Maintain accurate daily field reports, document site conditions, track labor and equipment, and communicate status updates to the project team. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of progressive field construction experience, with at least 2 years in a superintendent or lead foreman capacity overseeing field crews on active construction projects. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction drawings, structural plans, specifications, and contract documents. OSHA 30‑Hour Construction certification required; additional safety certifications (First Aid/CPR, Competent Person, Rigging) strongly preferred. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as required. Microsoft application fluency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with FRP, composite materials, or specialty structural installation in industrial or mission‑critical environments. Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project for scheduling and field reporting. Experience managing work within active industrial facilities, including compliance with owner safety programs and permitting requirements (hot work, confined space, LOTO, etc.). Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively through speaking and hearing. This role is physically active and requires the ability to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the workday. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Specific visual abilities required for this position include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Advantic Building Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, or gender identity), national origin, age, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
