Position Details:
Specialty: Inpatient Psychiatry Location: Atlantic City, New Jersey Start Date: ASAP Expected End Date: July 25, 2027 Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off Shift: Overnight, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM Weekend Requirements: Yes On-Call Requirements: None Patient Volume: Approximately 8 10 patients per shift Patient Population: Adult and pediatric psychiatric patients EMR: Oracle/Cerner FirstNet Facility: Level II Trauma Center Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychiatric emergency evaluations for adult and pediatric patients presenting in crisis. Determine appropriate patient disposition, including psychiatric admissions, discharges, and observation. Provide medication management and develop appropriate treatment plans. Supervise and teach psychiatry residents during applicable shifts. Complete accurate clinical documentation in Oracle/Cerner FirstNet. Work onsite in the psychiatric emergency room/screening center. Required Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry. Active New Jersey medical license or willingness to obtain one. Experience conducting psychiatric emergency evaluations. Adult psychiatry experience. Experience evaluating pediatric psychiatric patients in crisis settings. Willingness and ability to supervise and teach psychiatry residents.Vacancy posted 4 days ago
